Plant once, enjoy forever; that’s what you get when you plant the self multiplying Persian Pearl tulip.
The Persian Pearl tulip is a small early to mid spring tulip of about 5 inches – 12.5 cm tall or small. Persian Pearl has purple-red petals contrasting with a bright yellow center.
You can plant a layer of crocuses above your Persian pearl Tulips, as the tulips will only start blooming after the flowers of the crocuses have vanished. However, due to their small size, don’t layer Persian Pearl tulips with much bigger flowers than crocuses.
Strains of Persian Pearl tulips planted nearby each other will cross pollinate at will.
