As we approached our middle age, I do find that the casual conversations that we used to have with friends are now very much focused on growing old, wrinkles and cosmetic surgery.
One of my friends who reached the “ripe” age of 50 decided to give herself a treat of sorts and opted for breast augmentation surgery.
She was very happy with the results and I must say she looked better than ever post surgery. Of course there was the post surgery discomfort that she griped about but in the end she did say that it was all worth it.
Other friends have spoken of going for other procedures to enhance their looks like tummy tuck, liposuction and face lifts but have not taken the big move due to their apprehension of going into surgery.
Moreover, they have also have to due with the issue of money and objections from family members.
I would definitely consider plastic or cosmetic surgery and what I would go for which I feel is relatively safe is a mini face lift. My face has been exposed to the sun for too much due to my spending too much time pottering in the garden and now I need to get rid of my frown and laughter lines.
What is very important when going for such a procedure is to ensure you have done your research to get a good and qualified cosmetic surgeon.
Talk to people who have done similar procedures and get feedback and recommendation from them.
