I remember my brothers trying to imitate fathers’ designs but for some reason each and every time had to re-ask father how to build the paper swallow. So if you want a cheap and educational way to play with your kids, have a look at the 25 Paper Airplane Designs from a guy called Alex. The design is quite sober,but basically you get what you come for: instructions on how to make paper airplanes, What makes this site special is that the low tech paper airplanes are illustrated with high tech videos! Which is good as they make the diagrams much easier to follow. I wish all paper airplanes would come with a video though. This is a great way to both keep grown ups and kids happy, especially if they are from the male species 
ranging from the most simple to quite sophisticated airplanes. But there is really no age limit for making paper airplanes I find!
