I took this picture of tulips because each pink tulip seems to be wrapped in its’ green leaves like a genuine tulip bouquet.

Unlike the keukenhof Tulip Gardens in the Netherlands that stand out for the abundance of spring flower bulbs, these individual tulips stand out for their poetic beauty…

Ok, I will never be able to capture the beauty of flowers in words, but let this picture of tulips speak for itself.

Pink Tulips

Today when I first saw these pink tulips in the flower shop, I wasn’t impressed much. The flowers didn’t even open as much as one should expect from a tulip.

Yet having a look inside there is more to discover than just pink! Flowers just keep amazing and surprising me :-)

Needless to say that I couldn’t resist buying and making my sister happy as she is also a huge tulip fan. Some extra fresh flowers do makes drinking a coffee with your family twice as fun!

Enjoy these pink tulip fields in Keukenhof while you still can! Keukenhof will close it’s doors the 21st of May.

 

The Keukenhof tulip gardens are reaching their end. The weather is getting better so you should rush to enjoy a great stroll surrounded by spring bulb flowers in the Netherlands.

 

In Belgium, you can enjoy a project called "open gardens": people literary open up their gardens for the public to admire their flowers.

 

Unlike Keukenhof, these Belgian open gardens are free to enter and you won’t have to worry you will get stuck in a traffic jam when you decide to travel in the afternoon.
