Noelia Tulips

I have been playing around with my Paint Shop Pro, so this is the follow up of my previous Free Paint Shop Pro tutorial post.

I must say: the results are quite not so good as during the course… Most likely you cannot redo in 10 minutes what you learned in 2 hours…

Noelia’s first cut

Anyway: I started of with a picture of Noelia without a foot: that’s not a good idea to show Noelia in the middle of the tulip, as you really get the feeling that something got cut. And that’s exactly not what you are trying to do with good picture editing.

Cut Noelia a bit more naturally

When you cut a person, try to use a cut that’s accepted. Lots of pictures come in an oval frame, so I tried to do just that.

I used the same cut as in the first picture, but made sure the cut foot this time was outside the complete picture, so it more looks like an amateur picture where mostly the part of the legs are gone…

Shhhh…, it’s just an illusion that Noelia looks good. I made sure Noelia’s eyes and mouth are clear (so 3 layers: 1 for the picture of the tulip, one for Noelia and one for Noelia’s head). I should have done another layer so Noelia’s arms were more visible, but knowing the eye and psyche of people: we tend to focus on the face only (that is when our mind is not distracted by sexy thoughts…).

Summarized: I like the 3th picture the most because in the 2 first pictures, cut people look quite like a Halloween scene…

Conclusion: I need more Paint Shop Pro courses and experience!

Free Paint Shop Pro tutorial

Every winter I sign up for a course: cooking, handy craft, flower arrangement and this winter I enrolled in a Paint Shop Pro course.

This is a software program that you can use to play around with your pictures of tulips.

Today’s class was very interesting: we learned how to make 1 picture out of 2 pictures! Kind of one picture inside another. Well, let me try one out so you can see what I am talking about. The 2 starting pictures are of course a picture of tulips and a picture of a famous gossip singer: Noelia.
