Enjoy these pink tulip fields in Keukenhof while you still can! Keukenhof will close it’s doors the 21st of May.

 

The Keukenhof tulip gardens are reaching their end. The weather is getting better so you should rush to enjoy a great stroll surrounded by spring bulb flowers in the Netherlands.

 

In Belgium, you can enjoy a project called "open gardens": people literary open up their gardens for the public to admire their flowers.

 

Unlike Keukenhof, these Belgian open gardens are free to enter and you won’t have to worry you will get stuck in a traffic jam when you decide to travel in the afternoon.

Opening hours and info how to get to the magnificent gardens of Keukenhof Netherlands.

 

Keukenhof gardens opening hours

 

The Keukenhof gardens in the Netherlands are open from:

 

  • March 19 to May 21 2009,
     
  • including Sundays and public holidays,
     
  • from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
     

 

Make sure to arrive in Keukenhof before the ticket counter closes at 18.00h.

 

Keukenhof ticket prices 

 

  • 13.5 euros for adults
     
  • 13 euros for seniors above 65 and older
     
  • 6.50 euros for children from ages 4 to 11.

 

If you drive their by car, do know the parking will cost you an extra 6 euros!

 

How to get to Keukenhof Holland

 

From Schiphol airport you take the Keukenhof Express (bus 58) to Keukenhof.

 

From Amsterdam’s main station you take a train to the town of Leiden Central Station. The Keukenhof Express (bus 54) will then take you from Leiden to the gardens. Buses run approximately every half hour.

 

Combination tickets are available at :

 

  • the Connexxion ticket offices at Schiphol Plaza,
     
  • at Leiden Central Station and
     
  • at the Amsterdam tourist information offices.
