White spring bulb flowers garden
If you love to create an impression of snow in your spring garden, you could try to only plant white spring bulbs. Below I listed some white tulip varieties according to their blooming period.
Other varieties of white spring you might consider in your snow garden could be:
- white flower varieties of daffodils
- white flower varieties of lilies
- white flower varieties of irises
- Ivory Bell fritillaries and
- White Star Ipheions
More white tulips
Personally I like to plant one hell red tulip amongst a big bunch of white tulips. But this has only a nice contrasting effect if your tulips are blooming at the same time, so use the list below as a guidance of when your white tulips could be flowering. Be aware it’s only a guidance, as nature can be unpredictable
Early Spring White Tulips
- Purissima Jumbo White Tulips
Mid-Spring White Tulips
- Ice Princess White Tulips
- Mt. Tacoma White Tulips
Late Spring White Tulips
- Skagit Valley White Tulips
- Super Bowl White Tulips

Pink Tulips

Today when I first saw these pink tulips in the flower shop, I wasn’t impressed much. The flowers didn’t even open as much as one should expect from a tulip.

Yet having a look inside there is more to discover than just pink! Flowers just keep amazing and surprising me
Needless to say that I couldn’t resist buying and making my sister happy as she is also a huge tulip fan. Some extra fresh flowers do makes drinking a coffee with your family twice as fun!

Coral honeysuckle plant
Filed Under FLOWERS, Spring flowers | Leave a Comment

Our coral honeysuckle plant decided to have flowers…
Which we appreciate very much because as an ingredient it’s on our toplist of edible wild honeysuckle recipes.
But since it’s +25 degrees Celsius today, there won’t be much cooking going on. In stead we will add the flowers of our coral honeysuckle plant in our fresh salad.
We don’t feel like shopping today, so we will make do with what we can harvest in our garden. Luckily we do have some egg produce, so that kind of covers the meat section
If you have even more use or recipes with the flowers of your coral honeysuckle plant, please leave a comment!
