Tulip tree blossom

With temperatures in Europe above 30 degrees C (around 100 degrees F), it is difficult to still speak about spring or spring bulb flowers. The nice thing about end of spring is that I can dig into my spring flower pictures and start posting them now (it’s too hot to sit outside admiring the garden anyhow…)

Although not a real tulip, I love tulip trees. This picture of tulip tree blossom was taken in March during sunset (look at the nice orangey gloom on the surface of the white house…)
